Pteranodon

Description

The Pteranodon was one of the largest pterosaurs in the Cretaceous period. The striking bony crest on the rear of its head provided a counterweight to its long beak. It probably didn?t flap its wings very often, but instead took advantage of the wind to glide through the air ? similar to an albatross.
