The insignia of two horses’ heads is branded onto Hanoverian foals’ hindquarters, though only if both parents are registered in the studbook. Hanoverians are attentive, even-tempered horses who are keen learners and are especially suited to jumping and dressage.

A Hanoverian foal was sold for an impressive 120,000 euros at the Verden Horse Auction in 2008.
